Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to Jan and the girls. David was one of the genuinely good people in this world. Such a wonderful and gentle soul. I had the great honor of working with him over the years beginning with his time at Steelcase as well as on projects when he moved into consulting. I always loved our conversations on whatever topic. During many a conversation he would speak so glowingly about Jan, Kate and Elizabeth. He was so very proud of you all. He had settled into retirement the best...

I loved seeing and talking with David at any family gathering. He had such a calm and contemplative presence any time I interacted with him, he would just put you at immediate ease and made you feel very welcome. He always seemed content and happy to be where he was, and I loved picking his brain on a variety of topics, ranging from career stuff to Michigan football. I´ll miss him very much. Jan, Kate and Z, I´m thinking of you guys and sending love.

I hope David's family finds strength in knowing such great mentor and wonderful person. My deepest condolences to his family, and friends. He was giving and gracious individual and loved by all who met him. David was a mentor to me. And his book, "Creating a Lean Culture" was guide and inspiration to all who read it. The few times that I met David allowed us to connect and helped me grow as a person and professional. David will be truly missed. He inspired people and organizations to be...

Dave was an incredible gentleman, whom I really looked forward to meeting at the annual AME conferences. He was so generous with is knowledge, always willing to help out! We will miss him. My condolences to the family.

As a long-time and close friend of David's brother, Tom, I met David several times on his visits to DC. I remember him as a warm, witty, generous and kind person, and knew how much Tom and he both cared for and relied on each other. It is a great sorrow to lose such a fine and valued family relationship, and I grieve for his loss along with Tom and David's whole family.

We at Productivity Inc are deeply saddened by the loss of David Mann. David was a good friend to Productivity Inc. both as an author, knowledgeable speaker at our conferences and as an inspiring workshop leader. David was a wonderful individual, known for his kindness as much as for his passion for the Detroit Tigers. David's work made a significant contribution to the Lean community, and his legacy will continue to inspire. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family during this...

I'm so sorry for your loss, and am sending lots of love and light to your whole family during this difficult time.

I was very saddened to hear of David's death. He was my mentor and passed on his passion for lean to me when we worked together at Steelcase. I'll always remember him as a highly cultured, competent man with great human qualities and great modesty. My sincere condolences to his family

Jan and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful husband, father and grand father. You are in my thoughts and heart as you go through this difficult journey.
