Not sure what to say?

To the Manninen Family:

Dave and I had a great conversation in October, on our coffee break, ushering the noon service at Mt. Olivet. He was very excited to discuss his new diet, and life in general. Over the years, when we worked together, espec on Christmas Eve, he was a fine example of calm during the storm, and respect for everyone. He delegated, observed all, and never missed a beat.
I will miss seeing his friendly face, and his hearing his lively stories.

Our thoughts are with the Manninens for the sudden loss of David. I can hear his laughter and see his pride in the latest creation he has built for his grandsons to enjoy. Sharon, Steve, Mary Beth, Grant, Oliver and the rest of the family will have lots of great memories to keep him alive in your hearts. We are keeping you in our prayers.

Katie, Jason, Julia, Rachel and the Manninen family- My deepest sympathies to you and your family during this time of grief and sorrow. May you be surrounded and strengthened by the love of family, friends and our Heavenly Father.

Sharon and Family-
Dave had such a warm and friendly smile, he will be greatly missed by my entire family! When we met you guys in Anoka who would have thought we would be instant friends, but how can you not be? Dave got us involved as a family helping with the tractor pulls at Back to the 50's and when he asked me to take it over I said of course "yes.. but with your help". He of course laughed and said he would never be able to step away completely but wanted to make sure it would be...

Dave was a wonderful friend that got us going to Back to the 50s. With his great persistence he brought our pedal pull group to provide entertainment for kids. Kids were always important to him. I sincerely loved his smile and laugh. He will be greatly missed. With God's love and comfort -- Marshall Chase Pedal Pulls

Mary Beth, Steve, Grant, Oliver - So sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your father-in-law/Dad/Grandfather. My prayers are with you and your extended family as you grieve. May memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.

My deepest sympathies to Mary Beth, Steve, Grant, Oliver and the entire Manninen family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My friendship with Dave goes back to 1989 when I first bought my street rod project. We had many good times together at breakfasts and car runs. Dave was always ready with advice & ideas to solve a problem. He will be missed.
