Not sure what to say?

I really looked up to Mr. Maple. I always wanted him to teach me to watercolor paint. But due to my frequent illnesses, I was never fortunate enough to do that.

Dave blessed the Evan's Center with his talents. He graciously shared his warm personality while creating one of a kind masterpieces. In the Take an Artist to Lunch program offerings Dave painted a one-of-a-kind picture before their eyes. Then he donated the artwork to our center. He was a caring friend that left a legacy for us to cherish in our town center and in our hearts.

I was so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. I valued his friendship through high school and for some years beyond. Lots of fond memories.

We are sorry for your loss Sally. We enjoyed many good times with you & David. Praying for you and sending encouragement and hugs.

Dave always had a smile and a laugh he was a lot of fun in high school as we sat next to each other in English class saddens me to hear of your loss the world will be less joyfull

Sally, my sympathy on the loss of David. Are you the Sally Maple who was a friend of Mary McFadyen at the DMV? I am Marlene Lynn, a friend of Mary's from the 37th Division Veterans Association, Camp Shelby Chapter.

Sally sorry to hear of David's passing.

Your flame will never die. You live on in your students and your artwork. Thank you for always being there for Molly and caring about so much more than her art. You are and will always be her favorite mentor and friend. We all will miss you. Rest easy sweet, gentle Dave. We love you. Sally, you have our prayers and thoughts.
