Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to read of David's passing. I have MANY Dave Maratea stories over the course of 40 years!! My thoughts are with his family and many friends.

David, you were quiet the character; loud, boisterous, funny, and so full of life. You were so proud of your son Joe and adored your sisters Julie, Dona and your twin Lucy. A caring heart, always ready to lend a helping hand. Holidays will not be the same without your entertaining presence. I will miss you, forever in my heart, rest in peace cousin.

The maratea family, I am saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He was very proud of his boy Joe and lit up at the mention of him. I played softball with Dave & yes there are stories to many to mention, my sincerest condolences .

I am so sorry to learn the passing of Dave. He was quite a character. He had a quick wit and a sharp tongue. Back in the 80"s, the "BUC" WAS the place to be. With Dave, George, Timmy bartending. Great crew, great men and great memories. RIP.

Sorry for your loss

Oh my friend, you were on for the ages. If and when you decide to come back my door is always open

I played Softball with Dave back in day. He was a great guy and fun to be around. Dave was one of the good guys. I’m very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Dave. My condolences to his son, family and friends. I can see.his smile and hear his laugh like it was yesterday. I'm thinking he hooked up with Timmy and they are greatest bartending duo in heaven. Rest in peace Dave, you will be missed.
