David Paul Markowski

With great sadness and sorrow I heard about Davids passing. I actually only met him once, 35 years ago, but knew of him through school activities and functions. He was a very well-liked and favoured teenager amongst his fellow mates. My heart goes out to his family and lucky friends who had the honor to know him throughout his life.

Just last month I was looking at slides of Dave in Australia - memories of Dave always bring a smile. He certainly remained in my thoughts over the years. I am saddened that he is gone.

Sorry to here about the loss of David. The Langley Rugby Club also sends its deepest regrets. I had started playing with the Valley Vintage in Sept of 2004 and never really knew David but I do remember the other players talking highly of him both on and off the field. A very colourful person and lover of the game of Rugby. He will be deeply missed.

David was a dear friend, oft remembered, even though I have not seen him for years. He was someone I loved and who always made me feel special and happy. I enjoyed growing up with him, watching him play rugby, sharing dreams and teenage foolishness. I am happy to hear he continued to love life and live it fully...he was a wonderful person.
