David was a faithful man, indeed. We'll miss him. There are a lot of things we'll miss, but two are these:

Condolences to you and John, Esther. I did not know your father but the obituary tells me I would have appreciated him greatly. I know you'll miss him. Charlie and I, having lost her Dad a year ago, empathize completely with your grief. Besides, your Dad had the absolute best surname possible, so I know he was a wonderful man.
