Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear, Dave was the best to me for a very long time. The Maslar family supported me better than I can explain. They gave me my first job,I'm hurt right now, ,,,,. Your in my prayers, Renee GOD BLESS you and your family., Dave was a big brother to me,,May Peace be with you

Renee, not sure you will remember me but I was one of the Hometown boys from St. Laurence who got to know you and Dave through John Ryan and the rest of the Bro Rice brotherhood. I remember the good times playing softball with Dave, Don, Ed, the Coyles, and the rest. I remember a road trip Dave and I took one winter weekend to Bloomington Indiana to visit Pete Murphy. As you can imagine, travelling with Dave made it quite a trip. I still keep in touch with Mark Washack and Kevin...

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. Take comfort in the knowledge that Almighty God has prepared a future for the human family where those in God's memory have the prospect of a life on earth without the cloud of pain sickness or death. In the meantime may the memories of times you've spent together bring more smiles than tears in the days and years to come.

Renee, Amy and Katie,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss Dave tremendously. As cousins, Dave and I had a special relationship. I worked with Dave and his father at the shop when it was near Western Ave. I especially admired Dave's attention to detail, his untiring work ethic and his commitment to quality. We frequently shared a lot of stories and laughed together. Dave was a fun person to hang with. Dave could talk to anyone about anything. Dave was super intelligent...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Although I never met Mr. Maslar, after reading that tender and loving obituary I'm sorry our paths never crossed. Not only will I make a good dinner tonight in his honor (I'm thinking Caprese salad and tortellini al forno with a pleasant zinfandel), but I'll also do my best to live so my family will be able to write a similarly moving obit for me. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dearest Rene, Amy, Katie,

Dave was the best and most authentic of good people. Girls, you are the shining stars of his life. Rene, you were his rock. We are so sorry. May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hands.

All our love, Betsy and Pat
