I will never forget one sunny summer day many years ago. David and I were sitting in the backyard talking for quite awhile. Just us. As he was getting ready to go, David said, "It's nice to have somebody you can talk to." I thought that was such a nice thing to say, especially since David was only 5 years old at the time!! I don't know if he made it up himself, or learned it somewhere, but I've thought of that comment many times since then...so simple and so true. David, thanks for that...
