1st Memory: The roller hockey rink at Riverside Elementary where an adorable 9-year-old boy with a distinctive skating swagger (that only he owned) glided over with my son for an introduction. Sweaty blond ringlets emerged as David's helmet came off to reveal a warm, broad smile accompanied by sparkling eyes that exuded genuine caring and exuberance. I met David only about a year ago at the Armory Art Center. We subsequently got together to chat, have dinner and drinks. Such a kind, sweet soul. He made me the two ashtrays in the photo. Yin and Yang! So thoughtful and kind. I´m so sad. Gone too soon. Devastating.
