Very sorry to hear of Dave passing.
Met Dave and his wife in the late 70's, along with my brothers and their families as he and his wife stayed at my Mom's place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, for a couple of weeks, as they went up to Churchill, Manitoba to birdwatch for a short period of time.
When they came back from Churchill, Dave had to back to his restaurant, GiGi's.
