I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I don't think I've seen Dave since the early 1980's, but Tom Stevenson often speaks of his friendship with you both, of your kindness and generosity. At Lakefield, I recall that Ian Pearson and I were co -captains of the hockey team but it was Dave whose feistiness, laughter and talent was the spirit of the team. Sincere condolences to the McCracken family. As someone who knew Dave "Tex" McCracken at Bishop's University, his unique character, has always and will always bring a smile to our faces.

We are all saddened with the news of David's passing. The club staff all remember him for his devotion for his family. He will be greatly missed, and we all send our deepest condolences to Sheila and his family and friends.

As your neighbours, we will miss seeing you and David heading out for some physical exercise, catching a limo to fly off to some remote part of the world, talking about being in the front row of a Jason Isbel concert in Nashville, and the enthusiasm you shared for life.
