Dear Christy and family, I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. David was an amazing person and an inspiration to all. You are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Dear McCrady family, our deepest sorrow for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Our community has lost a great man, noble firefighter, trainer and friend. David loved his family and his department dearly and will forever watch over his firefighters and our community with God's grace. He truly made a difference!

My deepest sympathies to the McCrady family. David was a wonderful man, employee, teacher, and lifesaver. I've never seen anyone so committed to his passion. He will be missed. -- Danielle Woodward

Please know we are praying for all of you in the days and months to come and hope you find Peace and Comfort in the memories that you have and can never be taken from...

David was a truly unique person. He never met a stranger. He was always there for you even after he got sick. This community lost a true hero. Not many men left like him.
My heart goes out to his...
