I knew Patrick through my workplace, as it is a retail establishment. He was always so friendly and a joy to see when he visited the store. I realized that I had not seen him in a long time and was concerned. Today, a gentleman came through my line and told me he was/is Patrick's brother in law, and that Patrick had passed away.
