Not sure what to say?

David was a welcomed addition to our guitar Jam at the Senior Center. His willingness to share country and early rock and roll songs were highlighted by his warm sense of humor. He is truly missed.

Dave was a member of the Hunterdon County Senior Center Guitar Jam. I will always remember his warmth, caring, musicianship, and country contributions to our gatherings. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy goes out to his family. His music and friendship will leave on in the hearts, music, and memories he helped to create over the years.

My sincere condolences to the McDaid, Fleming, Durner families and to the many who loved David. May you find comfort in shared memories.

I am so sad to learn of the passing of David McDaid. As a member of the Hunterdon County Senior Center guitar jam, Dave brought his talent, humor, and musicality to light each week that added to the sense of community to our little group. I will miss his stories and songs. He was a treasure and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to cross paths with him on his life's journey. I hope the angels play guitar and they let you sit in. Rest in Peace David. Your spirit will live on...

My prayers for the family.

I worked with Mr. McDaid for many many years at TNJ/NJT. He was definitely one of the good people. I was so sad when I heard of his passing. My condolences to his family.

My deepest sympathy to the McDaid family . David was a soft-spoken and extremely generous co-worker.

I remember Dave as kind, always helpful, and of course with a great sense of humor. I know he´ll be missed. Kindest regards to his family.

Dave was my first boss in 1974 at Orange Garage (TNJ) and I might add the best boss over my 32 years at NJ Transit. He was more than a boss to me as he loved Big Band music so much he had his own Big Band radio show. Ironically, my own 18 piece Big Band once was honored to perform live on Dave's radio show after the release of our #1 selling CD. Dave was glowing from ear to ear the night we all crammed into his radio station for that "Live" broadcast and a night to remember. Dave I can never...
