Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. I just read about it on Facebook when it said that today is his birthday. I wish I had been able to attend the service. I will continue to remember you fondly, David. God bless you, and until we meet again...

The Event

It wasn't mentioned but David was an integral part of the WSU Rowing Team in the 70's.
He was a coxswain, barking out orders to his boat of oarsmen,"Our Napoleon, a big man in a small stature". He was the coxswaine for the 1976 Novice Men's Eight who beat Yale of the little Arkansas river. What a proud day it was and how proud Dave must have been of his oarsmen.
He was good friend, always thoughtful. Hope to see you again in heaven David and we will talk about old times.

I just found out about David's funeral. I would have gone. He will be dearly missed and he was very special to Mike and I. I am sure he and Mike are enjoying telling each other stories of their rowing years at WSU in Heaven. God bless you dear family. God's peace to you all.

I am Mike Shaw's mother. Sorry to see that David has passed away. I remember our son talking of David and that he was a good friend.

David was a great friend you could always count on. He was a real trooper that always kept ongoing with alot of determination. See you in Heaven my friend. Dave Kerans

David was a friend and always had a kind word for everyone. I'll miss his warm smile. Heaven just became a nicer place thanks to David's admission. Godspeed David! Be at peace!
