We will always think of Dave in the warmest, fondest of ways. Great friend, wonderful memories. We feel so grateful to have had the chance to spend time together and to have gotten to know Dave and his wonderful family. Love, Howard, Sarah, Isabelle and Emily Lock

My deepest condolences to Dave's family, he was a great man. I got to know Dave through work but considered him a true friend. In his battle with pancreatic cancer he still thought of others so much so that when I was in the hospital with pancreatitis he checked on me and talked to me about potential hazards to look out for. He was unselfish in every aspect of life and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him!

Diann Please accept our belated condolences. Dave seemed to have great ears always seeming to sense when my tractor when into deep mud. He would immediately appear to help. The McGarveys were wonderful neighbors.

Diann, Brian, Anne, I'm so sorry. Dave was a special neighbor and friend - a good person to be around, fun loving and involved with his family. My son Kevin still mentions how Dave reached out to him to offer support and opportunities when he was just starting his career. Caring, loving and helpful. A good man. We all send our condolences.

Sorry to hear about Dave´s passing. In apending time with Dave, a few things were apparent. He loved his family, he enjoyed the moments with friends and he could sniff out a fresh tap of IPA driving down the street. All my best to his family. -Ron Trengove

My deepest condolences to Diann and the rest of the McGarvey family. I got to know Dave the summer after my senior year of high school. I was helping him out with some yard work and I let him know I was going to Indiana for college, and I think he liked that I was heading to his home state for school. He was quick to sing the praises of his son and daughter, and I could tell he was proud of his family. He was a good man, and I will miss him.

I would often see Dave and Diann working together in the yard when on walks, and we would talk about our families and friends in the neighborhood. Dave was a warm, caring man and we are saddened by his loss. Our thoughts are with his family.
