Not sure what to say?

Cindy,
You and I have laughed and cried together over the past 55 years (can it be?)...and now I am crying with you (from a distance) over the loss of Dave. Though I have seen much more of you than Dave over the years, whenver I did spend time with the two of you together, I always enjoyed our get togethers...sharing jokes, stories, philosophies...and, of course, a few glasses of wine. It's been wonderful to watch the two of you grow from a couple of "kid" newlyweds to a mature couple...

Dear Cindy,
I knew when I first met you and Dave while showing you one of the homes I had listed in Matlacha Florida that we’d be good friends. Dave had a very easy way about him that made everyone feel like he’d known them for years. That was never more true than the night he called at 9:00pm from his pontoon boat on the water in Charlotte Harbor saying he was lost in the dark and needed to get back to Matlacha with you and 2 other friends, Gracie and lots of gear. We barely knew each...

Dear Cindy and Family: Brenda and I are deeply saddened over your loss. Please know you are in our prayers and thoughts at this difficult time. We know Dave will be missed by friends, family, and loved ones. Please accept our sincere condolences. Ted and Brenda

Cindy,

We were very saddened to hear about Dave's passing. Our island community has lost too many of its shining souls in recent years. We'll always remember with a smile Dave's St. Patrick Day's repertoire.

We are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time and hope that your wonderful memories of Dave will help you now and in the years to come.

Tho my memory of David go's back many year's to when we were "teenagers". It none the less caused some sadness to me today! It reminds me of the brevity of life! Also!! I believe the last time I saw David and his wife Cindy was when they had their "first born"! David and I had many deep discussions about God! In particularly after Dave completed his tour in the navy! And I the army! I believe that when I also am called home I hope to see David there as well! Much Godly love to Davids wife...

Dear Cindy & Family,
I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. I always enjoyed seeing you and Dave and Gracie at CSB. The twinkle in those Irish eye's when he talked about you all was priceless. I'm thinking of you all.

Cindy,

So sorry to hear about Dave's passing. My husband and I will always remember the kindness he & you shared when we met you (when we bought your Mom's home). May God be with you & your family as you greive.

Cindy and family, We're so sorry for your loss. Dave was a wonderful friend, father, husband and I'm sure grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim and Judy Davis

Les and I are truly saddened by Dave's passing. Dave was more than just a friend. He was always kind, helpful and considerate to us with a twinkle in his eyes. His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in our hearts of everyone who knew him.
