Not sure what to say?

It is with great sadness that I read of David's passing. I am a New Zealander who was serving in Vietnam when I met Dave at the recuperation centre in Cam Ranh Bay where we were both recuperating from the war. We have had sporadic communication over the years. Now another friend from my service is no longer with us, too many too soon. Rest in Peace good friend, it was a privilege to have known you.

Dear Carol, Ashley, Michael,

What very sad news. Dave was one of "our gang", one who has left all of us with wonderful shared memories of our youth and alleged adulthood. His was a warm and charming personality. Always .
He has achieved yet another " honorable discharge " I am sure from all of us.
