Not sure what to say?

You were an angel on Earth and now in Heaven. Your sermons and teaching will never be forgotten. We miss you.

I was just thinking about you yesterday Pastor Dave. You will always remain with me for you were the one who lead me to Christ. Until we meet again.

Still miss you Pastor Dave. Your words of wisdom and compassion remain with me always. So sorry you left us way too soon. Calvary is a great church but not the same without you all these years later. RIP and thank you......always grateful.

I was so sorry to learn of David's passing through the Dallas Seminary alumni publication. I was pastor of First Baptist Church of Fairfield from 1986-2002 and graduated one year after David did from Dallas seminary. I appreciated his Christian leadership in the Greater Bridgeport area and always enjoyed participation in the Good Friday services that he hosted in his church. Well done, good and faithful servant.

I just heard of Pastor Dave's Homegoing today - April 11, and it was a shock. I didn't know he was ill. But he was such a great blessing to John and me when my husband was going through a difficult time. We had retired from our service in TEAM, Japan, and when he heard John was diagnosed with frontal lobe dementia , he was so loving and encouraging. John is now in Heaven too, and they are both praising the Lord together.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the McIntyre Family. We grew up with David at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids. Sang in the Youth Ensemble that went to Kentucky for a summer Missions trip. We had many wonderful times growing up and many fond memories of David. We were shocked when we read of his passing into the presence of Almighty God. We will be praying for you and your dear family. To Mrs. Mac and Mary, we are so very very sorry. We pray that Gods loving arms will surround you with His Strengh and...

Dave was a very good friend of mine during the early 60's on CBH. I used to ride his horse during many sleepovers he invited me to. His parents were always very sweet to me. I loved listening to Dave play his Trumpet. I remember very well when he finally got his braceses removed as he had to get used to his new embouchre. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I still have some recordings of Dave, Gary Feenstra, and myself singing in the Three Nephews. My families prayers are...

Hello to Andrea and the girls, Krista, Alise, Jessica! Love to you may The Lord's comfort, grace and strength be with you. I will not be able to put into words adequately how your father impacted my life..He was someone so filled with and controlled by The Holy Spirit. He was not only an excellent Bible teacher, he was an excellent representative of Jesus Christ. I used to hang on his every word..I used to watch him and study him closely. I think I have never met someone so passionate in so...

Dear McIntyre Family, we are so sad to learn of the loss of this incredible man of God. We were married 20 years ago by Pastor Dave and blessed by the path he helped set for our future. He was a truly inspiring man of great humility, strength and love. How fortunate is Heaven to welcome such a man. You will remain in our prayers. Dave and Lisa Bencivengo (Fairfield, CT)
