David McKowen M.D.

Dr. McKowen delivered my son in 1976. My father, Trez Owen and Dr. McKowen were dear friends. I will never forget when Dr. McKowen decided that I had to have a c-section, he called my Daddy and told him before he told me. I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful. He was my favorite doctor and I will always remember his wonderful personality and thoughtfulness. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Dr. McKowen delivered my son, Jason, my only child on February 20, 1979, I was 20 years old, single and scared. I'll never forget right after Jason was delivered Dr. McKowen asked me what I was going to name him. I told him I hadn't decided. He said, "You should name him David." I wish I would have.
