David G. McNeill II.

David G. McNeill, II, 62, of Onawa, Iowa, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa. Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Carla Johnsen officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa. David Gingles McNeill, II was born November 1, 1953 in Onawa, Iowa, the son of David G. and Lorna (Rolph) McNeill. He graduated from Dickman High School, and then attended the University of Missouri, both in Columbia, Missouri. He worked as a lab technician for a pharmaceutical company, and later for the University of Missouri. He became a master carpenter later in his life. Survivors include his mother, Lorna McNeill of Onawa, IA and his siblings, Don (Ava) McNeill of Bow, NH, Vicky (Dennis) Carroll of Kansas City, MO, Kathy (John) Steffes of Carroll, IA, and Millie McNeill of Champlin, MN.
