A great teacher, sadly missed
I started my working career with Dave has my manager & mentor. I learned a lot from him, many things that have helped me through the last 24 years.
He was a good friend after his retirement, and we tried to keep in touch via our shared hobby of amateur radio. It wasn't all we shared - we both had our birthdays on 27th October, so I'll always think of Dave on "our day".

Dave was a mentor to both of us, "Grand dad" will be very missed by us, We loved spending time with him, taking Jazz for walks in the local park with him, and just spending time with Dave.
Our thoughts are with his daughters and grand children during this time.
