I got my first rose from David when I was ten. I still have the card dated May 20,1977 from Horst Flowers. David was my favorite of my dads friends (Thursday night guys). I remember he loved my moms chili. I still make mine just like she did. I remember a few trips to the farm. I loved seeing the horses!
