Not sure what to say?

Although I only had the pleasure of working with Dave for several months, I will never forget his kindness. Dave was the first person I met when I came into CCPS, and I was immediately struck by his warmth and friendliness. We have lost a great friend at CCPS and will miss him tremendously. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Dave's family.

Uncle Dave and Aunt Kathleen!

He was an extraordinary man and he will be missed tremendously! I will always have fond memories of you Uncle Dave when I was a kid. I remember hearing those stories when you babysat me, some of which I'm sure you'll never forget. I also remember when you would pick me up in your Corsica and take me out to get some comics (my obsession at the time). I'll never forget you! You will always remain my favourite Uncle! Love Always xxoo

I had the honour of working with Dave 20 years ago. He was a kind and wonderful person. I was saddened to learn of his passing only today. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family of the voice we on SERT fondly knew as 'Radio Dave'. He was a kind and committed dispatcher, and dropping by dispatch was always a treat with him around. He brought so much joy to those that worked with him, even if most of our contact was over the air. I can only imagine, then, how much happiness and love he gave to his family, and how much you will miss him. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time, and I thank you so much for the...

My condolences to 'Radio Dave's' family. I only knew Dave over the radio through our twice-daily radio checks with the Student Emergency Response Team, but his cheerful disposition and willingness to help us find emergencies (I got lost on campus more than once and needed Dave to direct me) was always well known through the team. I appreciate everything that he did to make the Western campus as safe as it could possibly be. He will be missed.

Aunt Kathleen,

Uncle Dave has always been a tremdous influence in my life. He was more concerned for others than himself. When I think of all the ways he taught me to participate in this life we have on earth, I am greatful that he (you both) was so positive and encouraging. Heaven has one more angel that is able to influence a chin-up attitude in my life. Whenever he is missed, my prayer is that he will show up in our hearts and memories and that God will bring about His...

I knew Dave for a short time, and only then was it his cheery voice over the radio or phone. I am a Stinson Security site supervisor at UWO, and talked with Dave when he was working with CCPS. He was always willing to assist with issues at my building, and offered advice and support as I learned my job. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Kathleen:
I only had the pleasure to work with Dave for the last three years at CCPS. His cheery smile and quick East Coast wit welcomed me every morning.
He never hesitated to answer any questions I had no matter how busy he was at the time.
I am a better person for having known him.
10-7 Dave.

I had the great pleasure of knowing Dave at UWO. He always had a cheerful word and a smile for every occassion, and his upbeat attitude never failed to put sunshine in my day. His passing is a great sorrow. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family at this painful time.
