Dear Shirley and Family, David was such a fine man, and I remember fondly the time I spent as a teen looking after your dear little ones, and also seeing you and David in more recent years during visits to my family in Sergeant Bluff. Shirley prayers of strength, comfort and peace! So many things I could share, your love for each other, such act's of kindness, your home was always open for family!! The funeral dinner for my Dad and all you and the rest of the family did for us from Michigan!! That is what family is about!! This is a sad time but there will be memories that will be treasures in your heart until you see David again in Heaven! Love Always!

Shirley...we are so sad on the news of David's passing. One of my favorites over the years and I miss our talks. Barbara and I will try to make up for the funeral on Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole family.
