Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I enjoyed his friendship during my tenure in the Caledonian Club of Sacramento and always looked forward to his participation in the High Teas put on by the Saint Andrews Society of Sacramento. He was a fine man and well loved by all who knew him.

Dear Eve,I was so saddened to hear that Dave had passed away,he was always so nice, and of corse you too.Stopping by the office was like the highlight of my day.I'm glad the two of you were blessed with such a special love, and a wonderful family.Love&Prayers,April.

Mutual friends in Loomis sent me word of Dr. Mercer's death, and I want to extend my condolences to Eve and her family. I am a (retired) dental hygienist and I have good memories of working in his office in the early 80's. He was a fine clinician as well as a wonderful boss.
My sympathy to all.

What a kind and wonderful man. Dr. Mercer was my dentist since moving here to Loomis in 1974. My thoughts are with his family. How proud of him they must be.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family. I was also a long-time patient of Dr. David Mercer's since 1980. He was a wonderful, kind, sweet person and will be missed by everyone who had the chance to meet him.

We sure will miss him, he was our dentist back in 1980. Until he retired and his son took over. There is one thing I will never forget that he told me. He said "retire early and enjoy life because you get to a point where you can't eat or drink a glass of wine without making you sick". I'll never forget that, he was such a careing denist. All our prayers to him and his family. Rest in pease Dr. Mercer. Tha Mariscal Family

He was our family dentist as well in the 70s and 80s. My condolences to his family

David was our family dentist when we moved here in 1985 until his retirement. A gentle and kind man in his profession and his private life. Our thoughts are with Eve and the family. Bert and Carol Braun
