David E. Merz Sr.

He was my 1st sergent when I got in and later worked in the shop next to my shop. He was always fair to me. He was a great associate.

I had the pleasure of serving in the Air National Guard with Dave Merz. He was held in high esteem by all guardsmen especally his own people in his comm shop. We served on many deployments together which allows everyone to know each other even better. It was very good being in his company. Circomstances did not allow me to attend his wake or funeral and I would have attended if I could.

Dear Aunt Vickie and family,

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Dave's passing. He was always so loving and friendly to us all. We are blessed to have known him. We send our love and and deepest sympathy to you.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. David was kind and generous, with a wonderful sense of humor. Please accept our condolences.
