Not sure what to say?

I was one of the last Marines to talk to Miles that day before we crashed in the bus accident. We even shared the same tent in Fort Rucker the night before. Lcpl Miles was a very young Marine, but big in heart. He reminded of myself when I first joined the Corps. Motivated and excited to serve. RIP Lcpl Miles - Sgt. Copeland

David was a great marines a best friend and a brother in arms. I touched my life in such a way that I can't really say in words. I loved David very much and was blessed to have had him in my life. He gave me the strenth to keep going in life when deployments where hard to get through and just everyday life was hard. He he will be missed very much and i know in my heart mind and dreams he

My thoughts are with you as you grieve the loss of David. I know your grief journey will not be an easy one. We lost our son, Marine LCpl Adam Loggins on 26 Apr 07 in Iraq. If you need to talk to other Gold Star Parents, there is a good website for support. www.marineparents.com
Prayerfully,

He was a great person and an even better friend. Things will never be the same without him. I love you David!

David... you were one of my best friends in the world and I will miss you always. I hope you keep an eye on us as we live our lives... lives you will always be a part of. There isn't much more I can say that others haven't already said for me... I love you man... I love you.

I am very sorry for your loss. Although we spoke only very briefly at the visitation for David yesterday, my wife and I feel connected to you in several ways. Like you we are Marine parents. Our youngest son recently completed a deployment to Iraq, but is still stationed overseas. And unfortunately, we have also lost a child. Our oldest son served in the Army and was killed in Iraq in 2006. The deaths of every one of these young men and women lost in service to our country affects us all. As...

We are so sorry to hear about your loss.
We know that David is with God now and awaits for that day that he will see his family again.

WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR PRECIOUS LOSS. YOU ARE DEFINITELY IN OUR PRAYERS. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE. PLEASE ALLOW GOD TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
