I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing, which was on my birthday. I only found out today from Gene Mays. He was a wonderful person. I worked with him and Gene at the Indio Fashion Mall until it was sold. What a warm, gracious and humorous man. So sorry for your loss.

Very sorry to hear of David's passing. He was so instrumental in sparking my passion for all things apparel and retail. I started working for Millers Outpost in 1979 and stayed for the better part of 9 years. I was always inspired by his way of making everyone feel equal and important.
David, thank you for being such a great teacher.
