David Lawrence Mindell

Amy and Drew, We always enjoyed and so greatly appreciated David's infectious positivity, kindness. and support throughout the time that Drew and Andrew spent together at Hopkins. Here we see David Mindell in 1971 on the far left and me on the far right at YMCA Camp Woodstock. Dave and I were fast friends through our childhood, sharing many sleepovers and tons of laughs. We were not as close in adulthood, but spoke occasionally and both treasured our time among the pines and during our off season visits. Rest in peace my friend. Ken Langford

So shocked and saddened to hear of David´s passing. Such a nice man with a wry sense of humor and a great voice. His talent was a shining light in all BJ productions as well as in choir. BJ will certainly not be the same without him. Rest In Peace, David. Condolences to his loving family.

I never learned the lyrics, or the notes, or even the lines in any stage play I shared with David Mindell until the very last minute. Didn't have to. David was always there, always ready, early to be "off book" and perfect pitch to guide the wayward. An irreplaceable spirit.
