Hi Dave,
I have so many pictures of you, donna, & the girls on my wall that i look at them and i just don't want it to be true. If i see you, your still here. I don't know why god chooses to take someone with so much left to do. I know your with Uncle Pete, and he still had things left to do. You are too young to be gone. I look at your picture and I remember how close Sheba came to being killed when she bit you. Thanks for forgiving her. I'm grateful. I missed you at Christmas. That was...

To Dave:
My Brother, My Friend
When we were kids we used to fight
Then times we'd play and hug each other tight
Playing games together we had so much fun
Until mom would say lights out we knew the day was done
As we got older our hands we would lend
To each other, you became not only a brother but a great friend
We stood by each other thru good times and bad
There was no reason to ever be sad
Staying out late, mom and dad...

I didn't get a chance to know Dave well. I started working where he did only last year, and by that time he had already moved to another building. We met for staff meetings and a couple times at the bar after work. I could tell from the start though that Dave was one of the good guys, always there to help and such a nice person. It is said that the good die young, and in this case it is true. As I read through all the other comments posted here, I knew I was right about Dave. I wish I had a...

We wish to add our condolences from all of us to the Minet family. Many years ago I seen a new baby come into my Auntie Alice and Uncle Jimmys life. I remember walking down the block from my grandmas to visit with them and see Dave. I am sorry also that we were unable to attend but some day would love to share memorys of Dave with his family.

Dave, many people go through life not realizing what a true and devoted friend really is. For over 21 years I was fortunate enough to not only consider you my best friend, but I considered you my brother. I will always remember all those times people would ask if we were brothers and you would answer, using the Three Stooges line, “ sure we are, my mother and his mother were mothers”. Your sense of humor and warm personality made everyone around you feel comfortable and at ease.

When I think about Dave, I will always remember his hearty laugh. He seemed to love being around people, and when he did he always seemed to have a good time. I'll always remember how he loved to barbecue, watch football and baseball games, play volleyball, and yes, who could forget his famous chili. His chili will never be duplicated.
It's so hard to believe he is gone. At times, when I feel sad, I try to remember all the good times or a funny little story, and I can't help but smile....
