Not sure what to say?

I'd like to offer my deepest condolences to Dave's family. When I met Dave in the 4th grade at Holy Spirit his nickname was "Moochie". Why? I never knew. Mush probably knows. In 6th grade baseball Dave's brother Jerry was our baseball coach. Coach Jerry hit a ball to me and almost knocked one of my front teeth out. I can remember the day like it was yesterday. Jerry was wearing an M65 field jacket and I was at 3rd base. Which I wasn't akin to at all. I was the guy behind the plate painfully...

I learned so much about life and how to live it thanks to Dave. We were fearce competitures back growing up. Tackling him at Holy Spirit football field, coming up the hill from St. James, was gut wrenching, just knowing Dave is going to run right over you, but you had to try to tackle him. Then in Baseball , To face his fastball, what a challenge and what a great athlete he was. We went to GRCC together and took construction classes, boy he was there for me in blue print reading. God Bless...

Dane and family, so sorry for your loss. Dave was one of the best friends a person could have. Enjoyed going to grade school and high school with him for all those years, and going to the YMCA to lift weights after school. Miss talking to him on the phone during the last year and catching up on everything. He will be greatly missed.

Jerry, Beth and family: my deepest sympathy for your loss. Cherish the memories of your life with David. May the Lord comfort and console you

I considered Dave to be my best friend in both grade school and high school. We physically worked out and excelled in sports together. Lots of good memories. This stirs up a lot of those memories. I define David as disciplined and a strong desire to succeed.

Austin, Aaron and Dane so sorry to hear about your Dad passing away, he did a remarkable job raising you guys all on his own and we always loved having you guys at our house (one of those 29 homes that your father built) all those years. He loved watching you guys grow up and playing all the sports you guys grew up playing. We wish you guys the best going forward and he will be sorely missed.

A master of the craft.
