Dear Elizabeth, Hunter, and Laurel,

I cry and pray for you daily. At this difficult time, may you see God's love in the faces of family and friends, and may you know his love in the hope that is sure to come. He loves you so much.

I will never understand why such horrible things happen to such wonderful people, but I trust we'll find out at the gates of Heaven some day. David will be waiting for you there.

We are heavy-hearted for you over such a great loss. How blessed we are in the first place to have known David Moncada. If we just had a little more time with him here...

I can't think of a time when David wasn't up for fun. He was easy-going, carefree, and could get along with anyone. He was a blast to have around because he never complained, was always relaxed, and was always laughing. I will never forget the sound of his laugh-- it was more like a goofy giggle...

Dear Elizabeth, words are not sufficient to express how I feel about the sadness of your loss. I, too, lost the love of my life in November, 2005. My heart and prayers go out to you and your young family.
I remember you as a toddler when your family attended Bammel Road Church of Christ in Houston. I know both of the families are equally sad to see their children and grandchildren hurt.
My heart hurts for you.
