David Mond

David was in my class at the Lab School. We were not close, but he was important enough to our tiny community for a classmate to have sent thisw notice to me, and me to send this note to you.
Am sorry to hear iof his passing,but thrilled to hear that he was on a mountain.May God grant such joyu to the rest of us.

David and I were best friends for over 35 years. We met in graduate school in Madison Wisconsin and through the years we have laughed through the challenges and turmoils and joys of marriage, parenting, trying to make a buck, trying to stay on top of the waves. I remember in 1972 watching a student protest on State Street with David, and how we both remarked that the times indeed were changing, and that the whole protest thing of which we were both a part separately as undergraduates in...

Jeanne and I are saddened to hear of David's untimely passing and send our love and sympathy to Sandi, Daniel, Rebecca, and all family and friends. I met David in college circa 1970 and he was in our wedding party in 1972. His joyous spirit lives on!

On behalf of the Shelter for The Homeless, Board of Directors, Staff and most imortantly the consumers of the Shelter, we express our sympathy to the Mond Family. David was a volunteer at the Shelter giving of his time and culinary expertise in providing food for the less fortunate. For that we thank him and God Bless.

I am very sorry to hear about your fathers passing. I enjoyed getting to know him on our climb to Ranier. I must say he did live his life to the fullest. He really was an agreeable and charming human being. He will be missed.

I have known Dave through a mutual friend since 1998 when we moved the office to Greenwich from NYC - he was easy to get to know and to talk to and eclectic in every regard. Very sad to hear the news.

We met David and Sandi in Zermat, as we were visiting his beloved sister Ann and Pierce, dearest friends for about 20 years. His strong personality and charism, and sense of humor, made this family rendez-vous a bright and warm moment in our life.
We'll never forget his smile and jokes, and try to be as good as he was.
We send all our love and sweet memories to the whole family.
