I was indeed saddened to learn of David Morgenstern's passing in May 2015. While in the SF Bay Area, I was a member of BMUG West in early 1990s and worked with David at MacWEEK in 2000 and always appreciated his professionalism, positive approach and helpfulness as well as his personality and wider worldview. I am so sad to learn of this news. It has been years since I saw David but it hit me all the same. I knew him when I worked at BIJ and was always greeted with a warmth that has not been forgotten. He had a.great presence and I was glad to know him. May his memory be a blessing. My sincere condolences to BIJ and his family.

I cannot express how deeply saddened I was when I heard David had passed. He was a great friend, long after we had worked together at Ziff and our lives led us elsewhere. He was the most generous, genuine man, and I am grateful to have known him

I've spent the last quarter century looking to find and recreate that special something, at work and in living neighborhoods.
During his funeral service, two words came to me: "Elan" and "polymath."
We definitely want...
