12-28-2023 My Condolences to the Murray Family. I remember David from my childhood. We called him "Duke." He was our Life Guard and Swimming Instructor at Carver Center Swimming Pool. He taught most of the children in Cooper Homes and the neighborhood how to swim. He would teach every Summer when school was out for the summer. Duke and I were always tight and close buddies. We had a science class taught by Mr. Albert White who gave us the task of making a rocket ship for display on a science project which won 1st place.
