Aunt Charlotte and cousins,

I'd like to share some memories I have of Uncle Dave.

I'd go into East End after filling my bus up with diesel and I'd hear someone call out "Barbie Doll" and it would be Uncle Dave. He and Uncle Norm would be sitting in a booth taking life easy. They'd ask me to sit down and tell them what was new. We'd sit there and have more than a few laughs. Daddy,
I am thankful to God that he has given me many years to be with you.
I remember how hard you would work on the farm and how you would still find time to come out of the barn in the evening to watch your children play softball. Well, you gave up farming and your children grew up and then you had lots of time to watch baseball on TV. I hope you score a homerun in Heaven, if not thats ok, because being in HEAVEN is better than a homerun anyday. May God rest your soul.

I remember all the fridays you would pick me up from school and take me to the farm to spend the weekends with you and gram. I remember how no one could mow the grass the way you liked it to be mowed, it had to be mowed in straight lines. You were always funny about that. Those times were just some of the good times I remember and will never forget.

I miss you very much. I know you are in a better place now with no pain and that makes me happy for you. Love you...
