David A. Negrelli, age 53 of Crown Point/Lakes of the Four Seasons, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. He was born on February 6, 1962 in Gary, Indiana. David worked as an Electrical Engineer for Nipsco. He was a former DeMotte resident. He enjoyed boating, Minnesota Vikings football, watching racecars and the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Negrelli of Crown Point/LOFS, IN; one son, Angelo Negrelli of CA; one daughter, Lindsay (Ryan) Gawat of Hobart, IN; father, David T. Negrelli of Hobart, IN; one brother, Matthew Negrelli of Cincinnati, OH; four step-children, Zach Negrelli, Kelsey Negrelli, Jocelyn Negrelli, Analisa Sada, and two grandchildren, AJ, and Abby.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Lee Negrelli, and one sister, Victoria Verplancken.
Funeral services are Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road with Rev. Thomas E. Mischler officiating. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation is Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. i am truely sorry i missed this chance to come an pay my respects. you were a wonder man. at one time i didnt know if my son sean lived with you or if angello lived with us, we could keep them apart for awile, you coached my daughter. you always seem to have time for all the kids when no one else did thank you. msy you rest in peace dave!!!
