David Negrin Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

NEGRIN, David David Negrin, 84, of Roswell, died June 6, 2011. He was a bathrobe manufacturer in New York City for 45 years before moving to Roswell. He served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn, NY, served on the Board of Directors for High School of Fashion Industry in New York City, and was very active for over 60 years in the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rhea Mae Negrin; three children and their spouses, Neil and Bonnie Negrin, Doug and Susan Negrin, and Beth and Michael Cantor; nine grandchildren, Nate (Lillian), Meredith (Jonathan), Farrah, Rebecca, Stefani, Alex, Matthew, Samantha, Mitchell; great-grandson, Maxwell Negrin; and two sisters, Ida Milkman and Marlene Lonshein. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Arlington Chapel with interment at Arlington Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the David Negrin Fund, c/o Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 2266 Cropsey Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11214.
