Went to Oregon with Dave. Played soccer with him. Flew with him many times. Best pilot I have ever flown with. Softest landings ever. Happy to have known him as a friend.

I was just thinking of Dave the other day--on the road flying a trip and talking about Nike. My first contract trip with Nike was with Dave. I flew a bit with him over the years he was there. He was fun and professional; even for a gin drinker. ;) We still miss you Dave.

I’m so sad to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a special person. Full of fun and adventure. A man of high character. I’m so happy to have called him my friend.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Dave's early departure. He was an amazing guy and a great pilot. He will be missed. My prayers are with Val and family.

Dave and Val were our next door neighbors for 20 years before moving to Colorado. They were the best neighbors to us and our 3 kids. We will always remember his love of animals and great sense of humor. I was so sad to hear of his passing at such a young age.
