Not sure what to say?

David we were colleagues in NATO. You will never be forgotten. Peter

As I approach an upcoming birthday, and now retired for 31 years, remembering those that I served with brings back fond memories of my service years. LTC Nichting is one individual that I had great respect for, and was proud to serve with him. Thank you for this opportunity to pay my condolences to his family on the anniversary of your loss. The colonel and his family will always be in my prayers.

Dave, you left us far too early. You are definitely someone, that no one forgets! I will never forget our time together in Stuttgart/ Crailsheim Germany. You were a great boss, and you made my, and everyone else's life better! Love You Man!

Captain David P Nichting was my Company Commander in Crailsheim Germany under the 34 th Signal Battalion. He was a great Commander and everybody loved him, the moral was high especially being detached from our mother unit in Stuttgart. Rest in Peace Sir, you will be missed but not forgotten.

I still remember the last conversation we had about exchanging pictures to see how gracefully we are aging. You will always be in our thoughts and memories. In my service, you are one of the best Commander and Friend I had a privileged of working for and with. You will never be forgotten by me and my wife.

David we miss you still. Peter

Lisa, Clair and Jack,

Dave is still missed. Lynda and I have since retired and live in the mountains. Dave is still missed. I often look back over my 30 years and Dave is always in my memories whether its Ft Gordon, Germany, Bosnia or Belgium. Hope you all have found some peace and are doing well.

In the Fondest Memories, and the highest of regards I will always remember you.

Dear Lisa and family, I just found out about your lost and my heart goes out to you. I served with David under his first command at C Co 34th Signal Battalion in Crailsheim Germany and the Gulf War. He was a great Commander and a fantastic guy. He made sure that we all came home from the Gulf. I was thinking of him and did a search that is how I found out about his passing. I will never forget him.
