Not sure what to say?

Well, everything about Buddy made you want to spend time with him. I could fill a couple years on a calendar I spent in the woods hunting with him and in just simple tailgate conversations about life, Christ, people that couldn't drive worth a hoot, bad politicians, and how he wasn't asleep when the gobbler came in-he just didn't see it-right. Buddy always spoke on the simple things in life.... how easy it was to accept Christ and how great his love was for us. He always spoke about heaven...

Buddy was one of the first family memebers I met before I married his nephew Steve. I will never forget how welcoming he was. He was loved by all of his family and his love for the Lord was heard by whoever spent more than a minute with him.... God Bless him and his family in this time.

Buddy was a dear friend. We lived within three blocks of each other most of our childhood and teenage years. He excelled in sports, which I know he loved, but I never heard about his involvement in other activities in his adult life. He contributed greatly to the people and community where he lived.
I'm sure that his family, all of you, will miss him very much and I will miss seeing him at our Elizabethton High School, Class of 1954 reunions.
Sincerely, Pat (Peters) Payne

I am Barry Reed the nephew of Buddy Nidiffer. My mother Karen was his beloved sister. My grandmother was Buddy's Mom. My heart sank the day my mother called me concerning Buddy's passing. I have very fond memories of my Uncle Buddy. I spent time in Columbia in the suumers visiting his family. I also was privileged to know my Uncle Buddy during my adulthood as well. My Uncle Buddy was a kind, good, gentle, and avid all around best Uncle. My heart today is still grieving because of hs passing....

Dottie and Family,
So sorry to hear about Buddy. I will always remember the good times we had playing softball for Wesley Memorial in our younger days. My prayers and thoughts are with you aa this time.

Uncle Buddy was one of the most loving, caring, and kindest man I ever known. There are not enough words to express all that he meant to me and my family. He made it a point to tell myself and my children NOTHING in life mattered more than a personal relationship with Christ. I will be forever grateful to have had such a godly influence in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and for God to comfort them and give them strength as only He can. God Bless

Uncle Buddy was my hero growing up, and I still hope to be loved like he was.
