Not sure what to say?

Dear Christiane,
Didier and I would like to send our
deepest sympathy for the loss of David. He was a wonderful person in our eyes. His spirit will live on as a positive force,
Sincerely
Gail and Didier

I worked with and for David for 17 years. Before he left MHC he was my supervisor. He always treated everyone equally the same. He was fair, compasionate, understanding, dipolmatic and so much more. He was there for me when I lost my girlfriend to cancer in 2004. I often thought what would have happened to me if he wasn't in my corner as was MHC. When he was first diagnosed I shared and offered what I could through my support groups and experiance. I cannot tell his family anymore about him...

David was the kindest and most generous man I have ever met. He meant the world to me. He truly was the greatest uncle. Even when he was at his sickest he still managed to smile and make everybody laugh. I will miss his amazing Thanksgiving meals and his Indian pudding. He was admired by others because he was so talented with everything he did whether it was fishing, cooking or just making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family but we can all take comfort in...

My deepest sympathy to you Christiane, Vanessa & Amanda.

Life is short, shorter for some than others. David’s time here was far too short. It is said that a man’s life is not measured by the number of years he has lived, but by the impact he has made on others during the years he’s had. I have known and worked with David for the past 14 years. I have witnessed the impact he has made on the many friends, students and co-workers he has touched. He was truly a remarkable man, in that...

I have had the great opportunity to work with David since he came to Mount Holyoke College back in “87”. Dave and I became good friends over time and we spent many hours at the close of work, when the office emptied, just talking about life. We would talk about the day’s tasks as well as what we needed to do in the up coming days. He offered discussions and advise, he asked for discussions and advice. We had a great understanding, a bond of such. Then our conversations always went to...

I am so sorry for your loss.

David was a person of the highest integrity. I always enjoyed his conversations. He had many great thoughts and was always full of genuine wisdom. I have kept David in my prayers and I'm saddened that such a great person is now departed. We will all miss him. I pray that God will eternally take care of David and that your family can feel a sense of joy knowing that David was a part of all our lives and that he will never be forgotten.
God bless...

My deepest sympathy for you Christiane, Vanessa & Amanda. David will be missed by all who knew & loved him. I will remember our chats about food & family and what a good sense of humor he had. I was always smiling when I left his office and returned to work. What a perk to work every day with such a fine man.

My deepest sympathy, David was a great man and true professional, I worked with David for many years at Mount Holyoke and had the great pleasure of several visits with him after leaving Mount Holyoke. He will be greatly missed. Peace be with you, David, Christiane and family.

Christiane and Family-
Your loss saddens me, my deepest condolences.
I have alot of nice memories of David when he was my Chef manager, he always treated me with respect, and was always willing to share his knowledge. He always knew the answers to my food questions...and once or twice I stumped him so he researched until found a answer. I've been away from the College for a few years now, but I have always thought of David. We had a special bond when we found out my cousin Connie and...
