As I recall, David never made a big deal about goodbyes; he'd burst into a gathering full of energy and then quietly slip away when he was ready to leave, which makes me think he didn't like saying goodbye. So instead of Goodbye Dave... We´ll just catch you on the other side.

David was always our cousin with the big grin - like a Cheshire cat that knew the punch line to a joke that was about to be told.
