David Allen Ochs, born on November 17, 1945 in Aberdeen, South Dakota passed away on March 28, 2011. David was a retried Detective with the San Antonio Police Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Nerio (SAPD) and survived by his son, Jason (Ashlee) Ochs; grandson, Ami Liam Ochs; sister, Bernadine Clark; brothers, Jerry and Steven (Susan) Ochs; step-sons, David and Andrew Menchaca; the Nerio and Bowers families. David was an avid gardener, bowler at the Turner Club and loved his radio talk shows where he was known as "Silver Bullet Dave." He also loved the Spurs and baseball frequently attending the Mission games. The family wishes to give special recognition to his friends, Patricia Ochs Riely, Carl Odom, and Ed Hunter for their steadfast support. Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 3, at 3:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 4:00 PM at The Angelus Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 4, at 10:00 AM at The Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2.
