David W. Odegard

As the Executive Director of the Physically Limited Golfers Association, I met Dave when he played in out golf tournaments. I haven't seen him in a few years and was hopeful that he would particiapete again. He would never sign up early but would usually call last minute to see if there was room to play. Sometimes he just showed up. That was Dave. We will miss him.

I moved into the Odegard neighborhood when I was in 3rd grade - and became best friends with Barb. That was when I met David. So many good times - from listening to Dave play the piano when we were in High School, to the late night Dinners Dave cooked us all when our parents were out of town(he was such a great cook), to skiing up at Quadna. I love you Dave and will miss you so much!!!

David was the best friend I ever had. He was always very supportive of me in my choices in life. He was always there to help pull me out of many holes I fell into because of poor choices. David had a heart of gold and helped many others when they were down on there chips without demanding anything in return. David had a great love for his family and friends. I will miss David a great deal and consider myself very fortunate to have had the gift of his presence and friendship in my life.
