David Jeffrey Odell

Dave was my friend for 50 years. More than that, he was my Kinte Brother, Odeo. We met in grad school and both went on the help conserve Montana's natural environment. No one knew Nature better than Dave. He was gifted at understanding rivers, forests, and prairies, both scientifically and spiritually. I am in awe of that talent. Dave loved Nature! Dave was terrific from start to finish. I only was able to fish with him on 2 trips in the 90's but they were fun, memorable full of learning. I caught a 'mug' fish and still have my coveted Angler's Afloat mug fish mug/coffee cup. I have positive thoughts and mind's eye images of him every time I see it. Dave made warm and lasting impact and relationships.
