You were an inspiration and mentor to me during high school. And over the years, through my own military career, I often thought of and relied on the lessons you taught us way back then. You have had a profound impact to my life and hundreds of other RHS alumni. You continue to inspire and mentor me even though we haven't had contact in 25 years. Sgt.Maj. David Oglel was one of the finest men that I have ever known. He always carried himself with the greatest respect for country and his fellow men. The influence he had on 100's of students at RHS can never be measured. What an inspiration he was for so many years. His loss will be painful.
