I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. I was raised on Calvert St. David and I went to Chicora together and was in Ms. Goodwin's class two years 6th and 7th. David was always such a good friend and a great person and will be missed.

Dear Cheryl and family. I just read of davids passing. I wanted to let you know that I have fond memories of David from our younger days at Chicora Graded School. I remember his beautiful voice and his sports abilities. He gave me his basketball award and I still have it to this day. I tried returning it years later when my husband and ran into him at a beach cookout but he said he wanted me to keep it. He was a very kind and great guy.
