Dave was such a gentleman in the true sense of the word! We often talked about our lives outside work and his love of family, travel, Jane Austen, visits to New York and Chicago with Ann, Cleveland and its history, along with stories of "the grands" was always entertaining. He was generous with his time and shared his knowledge (whether coding or the best places to eat in NYC) freely. I offer my deep condolences to all of Dave's family at this time of loss.

My best friend since the day I walked into H-6 at Ameritrust in June 1985. Dave was a great guy someone you could count on anytime. He will be missed.

I worked with Dave for the first 10 years of my career as a programmer, and he was great with teaching me new things and helping me with complex SAS jobs. He was also a delightful person and I enjoyed sitting next to him and chatting. Some memories: he kept a box of coffee beans on his desk and would open them and smell them from time to time, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't a coffee drinker. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. I worked with Dave for many years at Key Bank. He was one of the people you could depend on too offer different angles on how to get something done, debug something unusual or or develop something that hadn't been done before. Great resource.
